C. VINCENT CASSIANI PHD
Vince began his career in healthcare administration in 1970 serving as President of acute care
hospitals and nursing homes in Wisconsin. From 1970 through 1998 through his wholly owned
Addison-Rand Corporation, he provided full time executive management to health care
facilities, including assistance in the development and operation of proprietary acute care
hospitals, nursing homes and assisted living properties.
He also became a founding principal of Health Administration Associates providing financial and management services to 163 health care practitioner offices. Additionally, he served as a CEO with health care facilities affiliated with Mayo Clinic, Ministry Health Care, and Vencor.
In 1999 Vince built one of the first residential care apartment complexes (RCAC) in Colby Wisconsin. At that time, a 24 unit facility was the largest allowed by WI statue. Immediate occupancy and success in Colby occasioned the construction of a sister RCAC in Neillsville, WI. These properties formed the genesis of the Angelus Retirement Corporation and the beginning of the Angelus Retirement Communities, which was to become a string of 13 assisted living facilities.
Vince sold his stock in Angelus Retirement Corporation to an investment group in 2004. He has
subsequently continued his health care career in senior care and housing through limited
ownership, contract management and counseling to the assisted living and health care fields.
